Community Groups & Events

Elsewhere we explain the meaning of the 360Life logo, shown below.

A 360life is a life wholly surrendered to the kingship of Jesus. It is a life marked by serving others. Give Life.

Our community groups and events are invariably tagged with the 360Life logo since these groups exist as an expression of the intent of 360Life Church to serve the wider community of which it is a part.

Toddlers was closed during the height of the Covid pandemic. However Toddlers re-opened on 25th February 2022.

As before, Toddlers now takes place every Friday morning during school term times from 9:30am to 11:30am at Cale Green Life Centre, 71 Adswood Rd, Stockport, SK3 8HR.

The current online course started on Wednesday 2nd March.

Alpha is a free series of sessions that explore life’s big questions.

Alpha is a chance to ask big questions of life and explore the Christian faith in a fun, non-pressurised environment. Each session includes a short film and a discussion in which you can share what you think.

So if you are curious to find out more about the Christian faith, come, be apart of our online course.

Our Alpha sessions are held on Zoom. At the start of each session, we will take a moment to chat and get to know each other.

You can even bring a drink and some snacks to enjoy while we catch up, if you like.

We watch a 25 minute Alpha film exploring the basics of the Christian faith designed to inspire questions.

Next, the chance to ask questions, share thoughts and ideas on the topic and discuss it in a small group.

There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t ask (seriously). It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.

The last course finished early in 2022.

The stress and demands of modern living are taking their toll on our mental health and well-being.

A Kintsugi Hope Wellbeing Group is a safe and supportive space for people who feel or have felt overwhelmed, providing tools for self-management in a facilitated peer-mentoring style setting.

Well-being groups run for 12 weeks, each week looking at a different theme of mental or emotional health such as anxiety, disappointment, loss and resilience. Groups are free to attend.

The aim of these groups is to equip individuals with self-management tools at the same time as providing space to develop relationships with others.

Sessions include group and individual activities designed to help participants to accept themselves, to understand their value and worth, and grow towards a more resilient and hopeful future.

Starting soon…

An estimated one-fifth of the population (9 million people) are lonely. Charity research in the UK says that our culture leaves many completely isolated, in what the press is calling “the UK’s loneliness epidemic.”

In response to this, our Neighbourhood Chaplains team are aiming to help tackle loneliness through befriending. We will offer a listening ear and practical help towards meeting our neighbours’ physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

We hope to launch Neighbourhood Chaplains in the first half of 2022.

Help available will include “helping hands” for simple daily tasks which those in need may not be coping with. There will also be an opportunity for regular phone calls or visits for those on their own who would like someone to chat to. Volunteers will also offer prayer and signposting to other helpful local agencies and events.

Below you will find all the vital information that we think you may need to know about 360Life Church.

On The First Visit

On your first visit, the Welcome Team who greet you as you arrive at the church will be pleased to direct you to the right group for each of your children.

On a child’s first visit, parents and carers are asked to fill in a registration form so we have basic information about the child, together with details of any specific medical or dietary needs and any other information that you wish us to know about your child.

Kids are an important and valued part of the God’s family (see Matthew 18: 5-6) and we aim to reflect this in 360Life Church.

In most Sunday services, the children stay with their families and carers for the first 30 minutes or so. That means they participate in worshipping together with the whole church. Then they go to age-specific groups elsewhere in the building. That’s their opportunity to learn and interact while the adults continue in the service.

The children’s groups on provide a secure, safe and fun environment, where children feel included and valued.

Our goal is to support parents and carers with what they are already building into their children’s lives in the rest of the week, so that their children will come to know Jesus for themselves.

Besides Sundays

Children 4-11 years are invited to occasional extra events that take place at other times of the week.

These include Messy Church, games evenings and film nights. Children are also encouraged to attend special church activities that involve the whole family and every age group, such as summer picnics.

Older children (8-11yrs) attend a weekend camp most years.

The church has a formal Safeguarding Policy for the protection of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All kids’ volunteers and leaders are checked with the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB).

Youth activities take place in a number of different settings.

Small Groups

Most of the church’s small groups meet on Wednesday or Thursday evenings in various homes across Stockport.

Groups are comprised of 4 to 6 people - once they hit 9 they multiply into 2 groups.

The focus of the groups is "discovery" Bible study, where the emphasis is on "What do we now need to do...? AND "How did we get on with what we went away last time to do?"

Anyone can join a group and we do our best to take account of personal preferences, although much depends on how full groups already are.

The Covid pandemic has demonstrated graphically how valuable small groups are. No wonder the Leadership Team are so keen to encourage everyone to be part of a small group!

How To Join A Group

In the first instance, please speak to a member of the Leadership Team.

Prayer Meetings

Most Tuesdays, 8pm to 9pm, at Cale Green.

Prayer is simply talking and listening to with God, expecting Him to answer us specifically.

  • Praise and thank the Lord before presenting your request to Him
  • Be specific and ask for what you need, but don't forget to listen to God too
  • Pray in Jesus’ name
  • Pray in faith
  • Obey God and do His will
  • Submit yourself to God and pray according to His will
  • Pray humbly
  • Remind God of His promises when praying.

PrayerShare is a group of people within the church who are committed to praying for any needs, however big or small.

Prayer requests can be emailed to admin@360life.church

Prayer requests are sent out to a private WhatsApp group.

Please be assured that all prayer requests are treated with the utmost discretion and kept confidential within the PrayerShare group.

Giving To 360Life Church

360Life Church does not receive funds from external sources, except for very occasional (and modest) grants that are sometimes given to charities for very specific purposes. The life and ministry of the church is totally underpinned by the sacrificial and regular giving of church members and of others. And this is good and appropriate, since giving to God is a fundamental part of being a Jesus-follower.

This section of the website is designed to help you find convenient ways to give to 360Life Church, especially during the Coronavirus crisis. Please contact us if you need any assistance.

And God bless you as you give to Him.

The church is led by a Leadership Team comprised of three people.

Hayley Wall

Senior Pastor

Hayley Wall is a wife, mother, music-lover and a fan of the movies.

She is marked by enthusiastic passion for Jesus and a longing to see others live in the freedom that Jesus gives. A natural leader, her strongest gifts are teaching and pastoral, both infused by the prophetic.

Hayley is a minister with Assemblies of God.

Kevin Todhunter

Kevin Todhunter is a husband, dad, grandpa, introvert, coffee snob, rugby fan & a Pastor at 360LifeChurch.

He has been part of the church’s leadership team for well over twenty years, first while working in IT and business-change for a blue chip bank, and more recently working full-time in ministry. He is an ordained minister with Assemblies of God.

Kevin’s main gift is teaching. His passion is to build church that is strong in both Word and Spirit.

Andy Eadie

Elder & Safeguarding Co-ordinator

Andy Eadie is a husband, father to two amazing boys and a secondary school teacher. Andy has spent many years in various areas of educational and church leadership. He is passionate about seeing all people fulfil their God-given potential and loves the challenge of helping young people in particular who are struggling in any areas of their personal development.

Andy is the Safeguarding Coordinator for 360Life Church and should be contacted in the first instance with any safeguarding concerns. More information about 360Life Church’s commitment to safeguarding can be found here.

More key leaders

Karen Johnson

Kids’ Ministry Team Leader

Karen Johnson is a wife, mother of 3 boys, nurse and has been involved in children & youth work for over 30 years. After growing up in a Christian family herself and experiencing the importance of being part of a loving church, she is passionate to see that children and families are welcomed, loved, cared and provided for as part of church life.

Karen’s aim is to grow teams to work with each age group, that build-on what parents are already doing at home to introduce children to Jesus; so that they can know Him for themselves and start living the life that God has for them.

Karen also has a heart to see the church being inter-generational and finding ways to reach out to children and families in the neighbouring community who don’t yet know Jesus.

Matt Whittaker

Youth Team Leader

Matt Whittaker has been involved in youth and children’s work for over 10 years. He is passionate about encouraging young people to live the life God has for them. Matt’s whole life story is about how God never lets anyone down!
Fun Facts: Matt can balance things on his chin, lick his own elbow and loves to know what your favourite chocolate bar is….. be careful though, as there is only one correct answer!

Viktorija Faigt

Administrator & Treasurer

Viktorija Faigt is a wife, a mum, and a home chef. Originally from Latvia (that’s where the unusual way of spelling her name comes from), Viktorija feels Stockport is her new home.
Her role as an Administrator involves supporting the Leadership Team, organising events, managing the church website, and everything else that comes in between.
Viktorija is working towards finishing her AAT Accounting qualification and is dreaming of becoming a chartered accountant one day. In the meantime, she is also serving as the treasurer of the church.
